Fishpond

In April of 2020, Outreach received a grant request for funding the improvement of the fish ponds in Singa chini. Singa chini is located in the Kilimanjaro Region of Tanzania. The sisters in this community were faced with many problems with the five fishponds, from harvesting the fish to birds eating the fish from the pond. This resulted in buying fish from the market which is more expensive. The fish pond helps support the neighboring school and communities that are in need of jobs as well to nourish. With gracious donors, Outreach was able to help support the reconstruction of one fishpond. It was completed on June 20, 2020.
