School

The preschool program began in September 2019 with eight enrolled students. The learning happened within the convent in the public space. The preschool was paused in March of 2020 due to the covid pandemic. Fortunately, it reopened on January 4, 2021. Children from the area were enrolling weekly, however, space was getting more limited. The Kawangware school is a growing need in the community. Through generous donors, Outreach Africa has been able to transform the green space of the sister’s community and build a new school. Outreach Africa has also started a student sponsorship fund to allow students less fortunate to come and learn. There are currently 85 children enrolled. This project has become an economic benefit for many, providing many jobs. If you would like to help fund the school construction or student sponsorship, please go to the donate page.

With every trip, Outreach Africa receives donations of toys, puzzles, books, and blocks. Adding these items to their limited inventory help students promote their motor, problem-solving, language, and vocabulary skills.
