Water

Visiting Kawangware in  2018 we saw an emergent need for clean water. The borehole being used was contaminated, with minimal water reserve. Contacting an engineer we received estimates, then proceeded to find donors to finance a new well. The well was completed in 2019 and supplies ample water for the needs of the convent.

Visiting Kawangware in 2018 we saw evidence of water shortage. Hauling water from a cistern of rainwater was extremely difficult. After receiving bids for a new well, we went forward to find donors to finance the project. The new well was completed in 2019 and supplies ample water for the convent house/school in Kawangware.
